Jamshoro city is known for its largest University residential campus in Pakistan, situated about 18 kilometers from Hyderabad on the right bank of River Indus.
While travelling from Karachi towards Hyderabad on Superhighway Super Madina Hotel Jamshoro is a nice place to stopover and have some tea and meal. They offer Mash Pulse, Biryani, BBQ, vegetable along fresh juices.
Jamshoro was selected to be a University township in 1955 which lacked room to meet the ambitious expansion programs of the University. University of Sindh has Sindhology museum dedicated for ethological aspects of culture of Sind and some rare pictures of some of the famous people from this region. It also has a musical archive and a paintings gallery. The museum can be visited any day from 9AM to 5PM
