 The Royal City of Khairpur

Khairpur Mirs is a city in Sindh and capital of the Khairpur District. Khairpur is also known as home of esteemed Sufi mystic Sachal Sarmast, whose shrine is located near Khairpur. This majestic remain of the Talpur Dynasty of Khairpur , is the Faiz Mahal.

It is a grand architectural masterpiece. The unique traditional culture and traditional work of art seems to have swept over the real splendor. The details on the walls of the palace are exquisitely designed, exhibiting the fine art of the people of past era.

Mehrano Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in Khairpur District of Pakistan province of Sindh an enhanced riverine forest privately preserved by the Talpur Mir royal family of Khairpur Princely state with endorsement by the Sindh wildlife department.

The date variety predominantly found in Khairpur is called Aseel. 85 per cent of these dates are dried and turned into chuhara a majority of which is exported to India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
