Gorakh Hill Station

Gorakh Hill Station, Sindh

Sindh is blessed to have diversified yet stunning landscapes, not only are there deserts, beaches and rivers but also Mountain rages, one of which is Kirthar Mountain range which marks the boundary between Sindh and Balochistan. Its highest peak is Zardak-Balochistan which is at 7,430 ft, the second highest is in Sindh which is 6,880 ft known as Kutte-Ji-Kabar. The most famous of them all is Gorakh Hill which is situated at an elevation of 5,689 ft and is situated in Johi town of Dadu District of Sindh.

For travelers planning to visit Gorakh Hill can enjoy evening at Gorakh if they leave Karachi a day before around 11:00 pm. It is recommended to have breakfast stopover at Sehwan Sharif before reaching Jeep station at Wahi Paindi. Any car can easily go to Wahi Paindi as the road condition till Juhi is good. Don`t forget to use Google Map as a left turn from Juhi will save an hour drive instead of going to Dadu and returning back.

For night stay both Camp and room option is available. Highly recommended option is to travel by tour groups such as The Josh Tours or Rovers Pakistan .

Due to extreme heat even in winter season, don`t forget to carry water and juices along for the most adventures and tiring drive of Potohar jeep (only available option) from Wahipandi to Gorakh hill top. Gorakh Hill restaurant offers good tasty food which includes omelet, paratha, biryani, chicken gravy, chicken BBQ e.t.c.

Gorakh Hills station has tremendous potential at least for domestic tourism and can be built as an attractive tourist spot.
